Together we will explore behaviors that are preventing you from leading the kind of life you deserve. Often the behaviors that we needed to survive our childhood are the very ones that are getting in the way of happiness in our adult lives.
The problem is it is very hard to let go of the behaviors that saved us in the past. That’s where Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM) and Brainspotting (BS) come in. EMDR, TRM and BS target the original traumas by employing both the body and the mind. Once traumas are dealt with, the need for the now maladaptive behaviors are no longer there. Symptoms such as depression and anxiety can be alleviated faster when EMDR, TRM and BS are used in conjunction with traditional talk therapy.
